Nicole Hart Launches Campaign For NLR City Council

Combat Veteran and Community Leader Promises “Fresh, New Voice” For Ward 2

NORTH LITTLE ROCK — On Sunday March 13th in Faucette Brothers Park, Nicole Hart kicked off her campaign to represent Ward 2 on the North Little Rock City Council. Hart, a combat veteran and long-time community leader, has called the city home for nearly two decades. At her kickoff event, Former State Senator Tracy Steele endorsed Hart’s candidacy. Hart is set to challenge incumbent Linda Robinson, who has been on the city council since 2006.

“I’ve called North Little Rock home since returning from Operation Iraqi Freedom, and I’m filled with pride when I think of how much our community has grown,” said Nicole Hart. “At the same time, it’s still got the same character it was when I moved here: A gritty, hardworking city full of pride. I love this place, I know its potential, and I have a vision for what our community can be.

“That’s why I’m running for North Little Rock City Council in Ward 2. With new businesses and opportunities coming our way, we need a fresh new voice who can sit at the table and meet the moment. Someone who has the vitality to negotiate with businesses and stakeholders for new resources and can also deal with everyday citizen concerns. I will be that fresh, new voice.”
